The Drama Studio has a collegiate based resident company that offers internship opportunities for high school and college aged thespians to experience all aspects of theatre production.

Harrison Coffman (Senior Apprentice) is excited to be a member of The Drama Studio. Harrison’s past credits include Spamalot (Lancelot), Legally Blonde, The Musical (Callahan), Proof (Hal), The Glass Menagerie (Tom Wingfield), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear), Sweeney Todd (Judge Turpin), Kiss Me Kate (Paul), Rumors (Glenn Cooper), Evil Dead: The Musical (Fake Shemp), and Nuts and Bolts; a self-written, self-directed musical revue. Harrison is the recipient of the 2011 Dick Dedden’s Award at Clarksville Little Theatre and serves as the Assistant Artistic Director on the Kids Acting Against Cancer’s Board of Directors.
Chelsea Endris (Senior Apprentice) is a BFA Ballet Performance Major at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas and a principle dancer with the Southern Indiana Youth Ballet where she also served as Ballet Mistress. Chelsea has an extensive theatre performance background with The Drama Studio, Clarksville Little Theatre, Presentation Top Hat Theatre and St X Drama. Some of her favorite show credits include: Legally Blonde, The Musical (Elle), The Glass Slipper (Cinderella), Into The Woods (Little Red), Godspell (Ensemble) and Alice In Wonderland (Alice). She has also served as stage manager, company manager, light and sound technician and house manager for TDS.
Jacob Endris (Senior Apprentice) is a BFA Acting Major at Ball State University. and is the visionary that inspired TDS’s resident company. Jacob has been acting since age 6 and has a vast array of performance experience. Favorite TDS show credits include: Spamalot (Arthur), Kiss Me Kate (Fred),Godspell (Jesus) and Sweeney Todd (Anthony Hope). Additional show credits include: 1776 (Rutledge), Six Characters In Search of An Author(Male Ingenue) and The Hobbit (Thorin). Jacob has also worked as a Stage Manager, Company Manager, Costumer and House Manager for TDS.
Grace Robertson (Senior Apprentice) has been seen most recently inSpamalot (The Lady of the Lake), Legally Blonde, The Musical (Paulette), Amadeus (Count Orsini-Rosenberg & Others),and Proof (Katherine) at TDS. She was also featured in Into The Woods (Rapunzel) at Clarksville Little Theatre and in Nuts and Bolts: A Gender Flipped Musical Revue performed at The Drama Studio. Other show credits include: Sweeney Todd (Pirelli) and Godspell (Ensemble) She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music at the University of Louisville. Grace has also worked as House Manager and costume assistant for TDS.
Jason Effinger (Junior Apprentice) is a graduate student at the University of Louisville pursuing a master’s degree in Physics. Although a scientist, Jason has an extensive theatre background and multiple show credits with TDS. They include: Spamalot (Sir Gallahad), Legally Blonde, The Musical (Emmett), Amadeus (Emporer Joseph & Others), Frankenstein (Henry), Kiss Me Kate (Bill) and Sweeney Todd (Beatle).
Michael Hommrich (Junior Apprentice) is a senior at Saint Xavier and a principle dancer for the Southern Indiana Youth Ballet were he also serves as Ballet Master for the company. His favorite TDS show credits include Prince Herbert in Spamalot as well various roles in Legally Blonde, The Musical. Other credits include: Cats (Skimbleshank) and Seussical, The Musical (JoJo). Michael has also served as Prop Master and Light Technician for TDS.
Debra Rice Endris • Executive Director/Artistic Director began her arts career as a classical ballet dancer with the Butler Ballet. She went on to pursue choreography and directing at several local and regional theatres and has many show credits including: Proof, A Tuna Christmas, Art, A Chorus Line, Barefoot in the Park, Nunsense, I Never Sang for My Father, Sweet Charity, Cinderella, Mame, Stepping Out, On Golden Pond, I Am My Own Wife, The Heidi Chronicles, The Gin Game, Deathtrap, Sweeney Todd, Kiss Me Kate and Godspell. She is an accomplished playwright with more than 25 original Ballets and Plays as well as a freelance writer. Debbie is the acting and founding artistic director of The Southern Indiana School for the Arts as well as the founding and Co Artistic Director of The Drama Studio. She is currently a member of the CLT board of directors and in 2006, Debbie received National recognition when she was invited into Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals and again in 2007 with the Cambridge Who’s Who. She has been awarded numerous grants for arts education outreach programs and a featured guest on arts radio.
Dan Endris • Musical Director is co executive director of SISA where he is the vocal coach as well as musical and technical director for all shows. He is a graduate of Indiana University and has an MBA from Webster University. Dan has been a featured soloist and cantor of many professional, school and community events. He is the Music Director for St. Paul’s Church in Sellersburg and has served on many community boards including the board of directors for Clarksville Little Theatre. He has an extensive background in set design and producing. His excellent wood crafting talents can be viewed in our beautiful St. Genesius Theatre for which he helped design and hand- craft. Dan most recently appeared as a cast member in The Drama Studio’s production of Side By Side By Sondheim and I Never Sang for my Father.
