Our roots are grounded in traditional theatre with a strong educational base. We have always felt great pride and responsibility towards our art form. We are excited to forge into a new chapter in our journey.
In 2018, we returned from a 4 year hiatus and are even more committed to presenting relevant, significant and immersive theatre befitting our changing world. Our mission is to engage our audience in a thought-provoking and entertaining adventure through storytelling.

In Memory of:
DAN ENDRIS 11/11/1963 - 10/25/2021
Dan Endris was a man of many talents. He wore several hats and he wore them all well. The Drama Studio would like to focus on just one area: his contribution to TDS and the St Genesius Theatre.
Dan was a master carpenter who not only built every set for every TDS show, he also built our resident theatre, The St Geneius Theatre (which will be renamed “The Dan Endris Memorial Theatre”). He spent countless hours crafting a high quality performance space that showcased innovative design concepts. Dan spent countless hours working in our theatre, always with a smile, singing loudly to whatever song was playing. Along with carpentry, he also served as our technical director, house manager and assisted in the box office. But that wasn’t all: Dan was also an extremely talented vocal musician. His tenor voice could be heard everywhere in our space. He served as the Musical Director for every musical TDS has done and even performed in a couple of them. Dan was a true lover of the arts and he was an ecstatic TDS patron. We celebrate him and all of his contributions to us. We will miss him terribly but know he is watching somewhere in the house. If you listen closely, you can hear him singing and laughing in the wings.
